27 March- 2018:

Preparation and city tour around Kathmandu, MAI treated us to a fantastic tour of Kathmandu with the great guide Arjun. He is very knowledgeable and loves to teach. (He even knows how to get about in busy Kathmandu traffic! )

We had 4 stops, a great lunch and saw 3 (three!) different UNESCO World Cultural treasures.
We are working together to share pictures after the trek – or we would still be there taking pics!

Our guide walked us around like he was pre testing us for the mountains. We were all quite tired when we made it back to the hotel. Tonight’s dinner was a much quieter affair as we make final preparations for starting tomorrow.
